Synopsis
This 25,000 square feet supermarket is constructed of structural steel with masonry shear walls and features a fifty foot high main roof. The combination of a high single–storey roof, its complex geometry, the substantial snow loads, and the open–span requirements of a supermarket demanded some unique structural engineering solutions. |
